The Third        Teacher

Italian Educator, Loris Malaquezzi refers to the place of a school as "the third teacher." The color, texture, light and richness of our environments affect our thinking and can generate possibilities for creative expression and for the solving of logical problems.

At Peregrine School, classrooms are open and have south facing windows for abundant natural light. We are creating rich environments for learning through play with changes according to theme. We will have one room dedicated to the arts for instruction in music, theater games, large art projects, yoga and the like.

We have an ample yard with a garden and imaginative spaces. Our location is in West Davis adjacent to a large park and wildlife pond, where games, sports, and gatherings are held.
