Summary of Position: The Facilities Techinician is responsible for performing a wide range of duties to repair and maintain our school building and property. The Facilities Technician will 1) perform some tasks themselves, such as carpentry, minor electrical or plumbing, painting, and cleaning, and 2) arrange for outsides service for larger projects or those requiring more expertise (for example, HVAC maintenance). This position is based at Peregrine School South located on Lillard Drive and will require work at our west campus as well.
Keep Peregrine School and its property clean, tidy, and safe
Field work order requests in a timely manner: fulfill requests, log detailed progress reports, communicate progress with staff
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair or arrange repair of buildings and property
Perform general repairs e.g., fix furniture or fencing, painting
Perform or arrange ongoing preventative maintenance e.g., HVAC service, pest control
Perform minor electrical maintenance e.g., replace wall switches, outlets
Coordinate facilities projects: source competitive pricing for projects, schedule project, track and report on progress
Liaise with vendors e.g., custodians, carpet cleaners: communicate ongoing needs to vendors, follow-up on specific issues and concerns, work with vendors to resolve issues
Coordinate additional support staff for projects as needed
Manage building keys
Pressure wash the patio and walkways as needed
Empty trash cans
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Ensure a safe working environment and bring all safety concerns to the attention of management
Comply with all safety policies and procedures e.g., use safety glasses when using drills or power equipment, use respiratory protection when sanding or working on tasks where dust becomes airborne, use hearing protection when appropriate, lift safely, climb ladders safely
Provide professional and timely customer service when responding to work requests
Maintain tool and hardware inventory and order parts and supplies as needed.
Be available to perform some tasks after school hours or on weekends

Summary of Position:
We are seeking a creative individual who would like to join Peregrine School’s teaching team as an assistant in our Elementary after-school daycare program, serving children 6-12 years old. You will be assisting the head teacher of the program in running fun and educational activities for students after school, providing a supportive environment for them to learn and play, and ensure that those who attend after-school classes make it to their classrooms and back in a safe and punctual manner.
This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to tackle a new challenge every day, and doesn't mind adjusting to meet the needs of a sometimes rapidly changing work environment.
Job Type: Part-time, Shift begins at 2:30 pm, and ends at 5:30 pm, although there may be days when opportunities arise to work until 6:00pm.

Summary of Job Description:
We are seeking creative individuals who would like to join Peregrine School’s teaching team as teachers in our preschool program providing educational daycare for students 18 months-5 years old. Peregrine School is currently hiring for all preschool programs for the 2019-2020 school year.
Twelve (12) units of child development courses that qualify a candidate to become a Teacher according to California state licensing requirements for daycare centers. At least three (3) units must be infant/toddler development courses to work in the toddler program. Applicants may start with six (6) units if they are currently enrolled in more.
Life-long learner with academic interests in core subjects
Flexibility and initiative, responsibility and reliability
Experience working with preschool age children
Willingness to support and forward a progressive philosophy of education which is child centered and inquiry based
Willingness and ability to engage in play-based program
Willingness to work out of doors in an outdoor education oriented school
