This class is a Peregrine favorite, returning again for Winter 2020! Teacher Mei Yan instructs students in learning math skills (appropriate to age/grade level), while also guiding them in learning Mandarin. Students utilize the language in a mathematics context and communicate with their peers, fully immersing them in Mandarin. This class is great for students who want help in math, and for students who want more Mandarin immersion.

January 22nd - March 11th, 2020

Our Pandas' teacher, Teacher Jiawei, will teach students Pinyin, which is the practice of spelling out Chinese phrases in Roman characters, based on the sound the Chinese phrases make. This is an important skill for learners of Mandarin to develop so that they can communicate in Mandarin in every way. This class is a good way to expand your students' Mandarin education, and offers new ways to communicate with teachers and peers!
