Jichun Wang, whose English name is Grace, graduated from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, China. She used to work in China Life Insurance Company, teaching the employees for 8 years and was a University Lab teacher for 4 years. Her husband is a professor and teacher in SiChuan Agriculture University China. They have 2 kids, a son in High School, and a daughter is in Junior High School. Out of work, she loves cooking and traveling, planting.Can keeps herself active within the local community. She is involved with the Sac Urban Ag coalition, which strives to improve public health and economic opportunity through the production and sale of locally grown foods; Mothers Out Front, which strives to ensure a swift, complete, and just transition toward clean and renewable energy; Sol Collective, which promotes art, culture, and activism; and the Indigenous and Native Family Network of Davis, which articulates the needs for social justice and equity for Native American children in Davis schools. Can enjoys gardening, talking to folks about how to implement social justice practices in our community, cooking, hanging out with her BIG family, and crafting.
