FAMILY VOLUNTEERS

Family volunteers include field trip drivers, chaperones, and classroom assistants. Family volunteers must have a connection to a current Peregrine student. Volunteering in this capacity is separate from a family's Work Party obligation. â€‹

VOLUNTEERS

Outside of family volunteers, Peregrine also accepts volunteers from the broader community to help in our classrooms. Volunteers may perform a variety of tasks, including cleaning, organizing, and preparing for classroom activities.

3

INTERNS

Interns receive course/major credit for completing a certain number of volunteer hours over a period of time. Interns can work in our classrooms and kitchens. In the past, Peregrine has worked with interns from nutrition and education majors.

4

COUNSELORS IN TRAINING

During the summer, we have a special volunteer program for high school students and recent high school graduates interested in developing their leadership skills. Counselors in Training work in our Elementary summer camps alongside the counselors and specialists.

PARENT ADVISERS TO THE
PEREGRINE BOARD

Parent Adviser volunteers play an important role by providing input and additional perspective to the Peregrine School Board. Parent Advisers are non-voting and are encouraged to participate in all other Peregrine School Board activities. If you’re interested in being a Parent Adviser, please email the President of the Peregrine Board at:  boardchair@peregrineschool.org
