Born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, Monika graduated from Warsaw University with a Master's in Political Science and moved to the U.S. shortly thereafter. She has worked with children since her college days; her past positions include preschool teacher, kindergarten teacher, behavioral therapist, and English teacher in Poland. Monika joined the Peregrine family in 2018 as a substitute teacher, and has since become a regular employee at various Peregrine classrooms at both ECC and Elementary sites and now admin office.
In her free time, Monika enjoys California’s nature and weather by hiking, camping, skiing, and swimming. Thanks to Peregrine, she has also discovered an interest in gardening. Monika lives in Davis with her daughter Colette and orange tabby Pomarancho.
