Born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, Monika earned her master's degrees in Political Science and Social Work from the University of Warsaw before moving to the United States. Her passion for working with children began during college and has led to a diverse career as a preschool and elementary teacher, enrichment instructor, behavioral therapist, ESL teacher, and, during the COVID-19 pandemic, a Polish medical interpreter.

Monika joined the Peregrine family in 2018 and has served in many roles across both the Early Childhood Center and Elementary campuses before joining the administrative team. Art has always been an important part of her life, and she enjoys sharing her creativity with students through hands-on projects and lessons.

Outside of work, Monika enjoys art, yoga, book club, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her daughter and their orange tabby cat, Pomarancho, whose name is inspired by the Polish word for "orange" (pomarańczowy).
